A flock of birds leads the way.
At Expo 2020 Dubai, all eyes are on the kinetic work of art at the Polish pavilion: the abstract sculpture representing a flock of birds welcomes visitors to the pavilion’s outdoor area and serves as a narrator guiding them through the interactive exhibition in the interior. The flock of birds is a metaphor for both the richness of the country’s natural landscapes as a habitat for migratory birds and the natural phenomenon of bird migration between Poland and the Arabic world. The strong visual element thus creates a bridge to Poland’s many global connections. It’s no wonder, then, that the wooden structure with the name “Poland – Inspired by Nature”, which was created in collaboration with the Warsaw-based architecture firm WXCA, is one of the most popular pavilions on the expo grounds.
